L.E. Rogers

L.E. Rogers is a freelance writer of children's and adult literature. She lives in the Pacific Northwest, near the Pacific Coast, where there's plenty of natural beauty to enjoy.

She loves spending time outdoors, especially beachcombing and whale watching. Sometimes, it's the simple things that make a day special. A walk along the shore, a chance to watch wildlife, or a quiet moment by the water can stay with you long after you've gone home.

Writing for children and adults gives L.E. Rogers room to tell different kinds of stories. Her children's book, Where'd You Go, Little Crow?, follows a small bird who tries his best and shares what he has. When his brothers tease him, Little Crow takes time to reflect and chooses forgiveness over resentment. Later, his curiosity and adventurous spirit inspire him to follow a distant flock. His story is a reminder of how much kindness and forgiveness matter.

Little Crow's story also touches on faith and the comfort of knowing that God sees us, even when we feel alone. These are meaningful ideas for children to think about, and they give parents and caregivers something to talk about with them after reading.
